The Harghita County Council and the Municipality of Sfântu Gheorghe/Sepsiszentgyörgy represented themselves on November 20, 2024, in Brussels at the event organized to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR).

The aim of the meeting was to showcase traditional local values, explore cooperation opportunities for tourism development, and promote local products. With the approval of the organizers, Harghita and Covasna counties jointly participated with a promotional stand. Through the printed materials created under the Visit Harghita brand, participants had the chance to learn more about Harghita County. As part of the Szekler Product program, visitors were able to explore and taste local products such as homemade bread, cheeses, sausages, and gingerbread.

The stand served as an information point for initiatives related to tourism development, supporting local producers, and preserving traditional values. The participation strengthened Harghita County's international presence, contributing to a broader recognition of its local gastronomic and cultural heritage.
