A one-day conference on tourism development in the counties of Mureș, Harghita, and Covasna was organized on June 7 by the Visit Mureș Association, the Sapientia EMTE Faculty in Târgu Mureș, the Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Cluj-Napoca, and the Transylvania Bloom Association. Károly Szabó, the executive director of the association, participated in a roundtable discussion titled "Challenges and Opportunities in Niche Tourism in the Szeklerland."
